Polish manufacturer of home textiles

The history of MK Betten is a tale of over twenty years of continuous development, passion, and commitment to creating exceptional home textiles. We are a proud Polish company located in the Łódź Voivodeship, which has transformed from a small artisan workshop into a dynamic manufacturer serving both the domestic and international markets.

We began our journey in 2001, specializing in the production of traditional duvets and pillows using natural fillings such as feathers and down. Over time, we listened to the needs of our customers and followed changing trends, and have constantly expanded our offerings. Today, we are proud to offer a wide range of products, from anti-allergy duvets and pillows, to mattresses for garden furniture, and even stylish armchairs and pouffes.

We believe that the heart of every company lies in its values. Four pillars are key to us:

  • Craftsmanship and Precision: Each of our products, from pillows to throws, is carefully crafted by experienced artisans. Attention to detail and precision at every stage of production make our textiles not only beautiful but, above all, durable.
  • Material Quality: We don’t compromise on quality. We use only the highest quality materials in production, guaranteeing the appropriate standards and supporting the local economy. Our fabrics are certified, ensuring their safety and durability.
  • Innovation with Respect for Tradition: We combine proven, traditional production methods with modern technologies and design. This allows us to create products that are timeless and perfectly reflect contemporary interior design trends.
  • Customer Focus: Our goal is to provide textiles that perfectly match the needs of our customers. We are open to dialogue and constantly strive to ensure that our products provide exceptional comfort and satisfaction.

kapok products

What are the characteristics of kapok fibers?

Kapok fibers have a unique structure that gives them exceptional properties:
  • Hollow: Kapok fibers are formed into tiny tubes with a hollow center, which are light and fluffy, making them up to 8 times lighter than cotton. This hollow structure is responsible for excellent thermoregulation properties – retaining heat in winter and releasing it in summer.
  • Waxy coating: Each kapok fiber is coated with a delicate, waxy coating. This makes them hydrophobic, meaning they do not absorb moisture or odors. This key feature makes them resistant to dust mites, mold, and bacteria, making them an ideal material for allergy sufferers.
  • Resilient and durable: Despite their lightness, kapok fibers are resilient and do not clump together. They maintain their shape for a long time, allowing products made from them, such as pillows, to provide stable support.

Duvets and pillows filled with kapok nut fiber

A 100% natural, fully biodegradable material, gentle on the body and the environment. It is breathable, hydrophobic, supports body thermoregulation, and contains natural oils in its fibers that inhibit the growth of bacteria and dust mites.

In a world where we increasingly prioritize ecology and natural solutions, kapok fiber is emerging as a true breakthrough in textile production, especially bedding. Derived from the fruit of the kapok tree, this fibrous down is a 100% natural, plant-based material that combines extraordinary properties, providing exceptional sleep comfort.

Kapok, also known as “plant silk,” is light, fluffy, and hypoallergenic. This fiber is smooth and resistant to dust mites and mold, making it an ideal choice for allergy sufferers. Furthermore, its unique structure, full of hollow spaces, allows for excellent air circulation, making kapok bedding exceptionally breathable and temperature-regulating, offering comfort on both warmer and cooler nights.

Why kapok fiber bedding?

Producing kapok bedding is a conscious choice that has a positive impact on the environment and your health. Unlike cotton, growing kapok trees doesn't require intensive fertilization, pesticides, or large amounts of water. The fruit is harvested by hand, minimizing pollution, and the fiber processing process itself is completely eco-friendly.
